Little Shop of Horrors
Presented by CPAC, Little Shop of Horrors is a rock musical about a hapless florist shop worker who raises a plant that feeds on human blood. One of the longest-running Off-Broadway shows of all time, this affectionate spoof of 1950s sci-fi movies has become a house-hold name, thanks to a highly successful film version and a score by the song-writing team of Howard Ashman and Alan Menken, who redefined the animated musical film with Disney’s “The Little Mermaid”, “Beauty And The Beast” and “Aladdin.” Charming, tuneful and hilarious, with tongue firmly planted in cheek, “Little Shop of Horrors” never fails to entertain. This is one show that must not be missed – great fun for the whole family!
Dates: 25 Feb 8pm, 26 Feb 2pm, 3 Mar 8pm, 4 Mar 2pm, 8 Mar 7pm, 9 Mar 8pm.

David Strassman
– Careful What You Wish For
Another amazing brand new show from the twisted mind of master ventriloquist David Strassman! Alternate realities? Parallel universes? Strassman's hilarious new show truly ventures down the rabbit hole! It's a mind-bending journey into a world where nothing is as it seems. Chuck and Ted E. Bare are back but a strange 'wish" transforms them into comical alternate selves. Be amazed while new puppet creations take over Strassman's mind. The road home may be scary for Strassman,… but hilarious for us! And what have the critics said? At the Edinburgh Festival, The List said “Absolute genius. The writing is truly superb and the performance – or should that be performances? – breathtaking in linguistic and ventriloquistic dexterity. Takes the ancient art of ventriloquism up several notches.”

– Charlotte's Web
One spring, on a farm in Maine, Fern Arable learns that her father plans to kill the runt of a litter of newborn pigs. She successfully begs him to spare its life. She names him Wilbur and raises him as her pet. To her regret, when he grows into an adult pig, she is forced to take him to the Zuckerman farm, where he is to be prepared as dinner in due time. Charlotte, a spider, lives in the space above Wilbur's sty in the Zuckermans' barn; she befriends him and decides to help prevent him from being eaten. With the help of the other barn animals, including a rat named Templeton, she convinces the Zuckerman family that Wilbur is actually quite special, by spelling out descriptions of him in her web: ‘Some pig’, ‘Terrific’, ‘Radiant’ and ‘Humble’.

Mental as Anything
A popular urban myth concerns a group of art students who passed themselves off as a band in order to con the local publican into giving them a gig in exchange for free beer. The deception worked better than intended, and the group came to be known as Mental as Anything. Nearly three decades later, they are still entertaining the public with their highly listenable, idiosyncratic brand of garage pop. With songs like Nips are Getting Bigger, Too Many Times, If You Leave Me Can I Come Too, Just Like Romeo and Juliet the night is sure to be a big hit.

– Chicken Run
Ginger is one of the chickens at the Tweedy Egg Farm, who is capable of escaping (and desperately wants to) but is constantly being held back by her incompetent partners. One night, feeling failed and depressed after a chicken is axed, she wanders out to the gate, where she sees a rooster triumphantly flying through the air. After crashing and injuring his wing, Ginger takes him in and learns he's Rocky Rhodes, a cocky American who enjoys freedom - in fact, he escaped from a circus when she found him. In exchange for protecting him when the circus arrives asking for him, Ginger makes a deal with Rocky that he will teach them to fly so they can escape. Taking advantage of the situation, Rocky woos the chicken, irritating Ginger "Doll-Face" and organiser Officer Fowler, formerly of the Royal Air Force, in the process. Meanwhile, the Tweedys have purchased a machine to make chicken pies with, intending to cook every last one of them.
