About the exhibition:
Inspired by the colours, textures, and rhythms of the natural world, her crochet and textile work celebrates the beauty found in both landscapes and everyday details. Through the slow, meditative process of hand stitching, she invites viewers to appreciate the richness of texture, the stories held within fibre, and the enduring connection to nature.  

Through each handmade piece, she celebrates the beauty of patience, care, and the enduring tradition of handmade.  

The exhibition invites viewers to experience fibre as both an artistic medium and a reflection of creativity, connection, and craftsmanship.  

Each stitch becomes a reminder that care, time, and connection are woven into the fabric of our shared experience.

Artist’s Biography:
Maroulla Radisavic is a multidisciplinary artist practising textile art, painting, drawing, poetry. Her crochet and mixed media works inspire memory, heritage, and contemporary storytelling. Her textile art explores materials such as threads and yarns, natural fabrics, crochet and embroidery, through functional or decorative creations.  

Maroulla comes from a Greek Cypriot background. She studied Social Sciences at Charles University in Prague, Czech Republic. Her passion for textile art started at an early age and was taught primarily by her mother and through her culture and tradition. Her practice reimagines traditional craft techniques, weaving together themes of memory, heritage, and everyday storytelling.
