Residency description:
Practice Lab is a six-week collaborative residency by artists Dalys Hill and Gülsen Özer at The Hills Hub Arts Space (February–April 2026). The residency provides a dedicated space to deepen their individual and shared practices across voice, movement, sound, and socially engaged performance. Building on ongoing collaborations, the space will support creative development of projects including Listening to the Mountain Body and Gama-dji, a Woiwurrung song project with Wurundjeri artist Mandy Nicholson, as well as youth choir rehearsals (Tune In) led by Hill, leading to a public festival performance (PAVED FunFest), and Özer’s solo dance and theatre practices, workshop program development, and 1:1 movement coaching.  

Public access:
The residency is primarily a private working residency with 1:1 coaching and/or small-group workshop development sessions. The space will also be used for rehearsals for Tune In, a youth choir led by Dalys Hill in preparation for a public performance at the PAVED FunFest Festival in April 2026. There are no public drop-in sessions planned at this stage.
